Getting Started

How do I create my first journey?

After signing in, tap "Create Journey" on the home screen. Give your journey a name, set your travel dates, and you're ready to start planning on the map.

Do I need an account to use KeepnBuild?

Yes, a free account is required to save your journeys and sync across devices. You can sign up with email, Google, or Kakao.

Is KeepnBuild available on mobile?

The web app works on all devices. Native iOS and Android apps are coming in late 2025 with enhanced camera integration and offline features.

Planning & Maps

How do I plan a route on the map?

Open your journey and tap the map canvas. Click to add waypoints, drag them to reorder, and the route will automatically update. You can also search for places to add directly.

Can I download maps for offline use?

Yes, Pro users can download map regions for offline access. Go to Map Settings and select "Download Area" before your trip.

How does the AI travel assistant work?

Our AI analyzes your route and preferences to suggest restaurants, attractions, and hidden gems nearby. Tap the sparkle icon on any waypoint to get recommendations.

Photos & Memories

How do I add photos to my journey?

Tap the + button and select "Add Photos". Choose from your gallery or take new photos. They'll be automatically sorted by date and location if available.

Can I add photos from my DSLR camera?

Yes! Upload photos from any source. We'll extract EXIF data for automatic date and location tagging. You can also manually set locations on the map.

What's the photo storage limit?

Free accounts get 100 photos per journey. Pro accounts have unlimited photo storage with original quality preservation.

Sharing & Export

How do I share a journey with friends?

Open your journey, tap Share, and choose "Invite Collaborators". They'll receive a link to view or contribute to the journey.

Can I make my journey public?

Yes, you can publish your journey as a public trip report. Others can view it but can't edit. Great for inspiring fellow travelers!

What export formats are available?

Export as PDF trip summary, high-res photo archive (ZIP), or create custom photo books. Pro users also get GPX route files.

Photo Books & Prints

How do I create a photo book?

After completing a journey, go to "Build Treasures" and select "Create Photo Book". Our AI will suggest the best photos and layouts, which you can customize.

What sizes are available for photo books?

We offer Standard (8"x8"), Magazine (8"x10"), and Premium Large (10"x10") formats. All books are printed on archival-quality paper.

How long does shipping take?

Photo books ship within 5-7 business days. Standard shipping is 3-5 days domestic, 7-14 days international. Express options available.

Account & Billing

How do I upgrade to Pro?

Go to Settings > Subscription and select a Pro plan. You can choose monthly or annual billing (save 2 months with annual!).

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, cancel anytime from Settings > Subscription. You'll retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, and bank transfer for annual plans.
